• Is Cellulite Reduction painful?

Cellfina’s micro-needle device is so small and fast that many patients hardly feel uncomfortable. In fact, many of our patients compare it to a feeling you’d get if you rubbed sandpaper across your skin. After your Cellifina procedure in Upland, all side effects will be typically mild and resolve themselves within a few days of the treatment. Additionally, the procedure itself takes less than an hour, so any discomfort is extremely temporary and short-lived. Feeling sore and tender is very normal, and some, not all, patients will also experience bruising in the area.

• How many appointments will I need?

  The number of appointments you will need for Cellulite Treatment will be decided by what needs you're seeking, as well as the certain body type and area desired for the treatment of the individual. • Can I combine Cellulite Reduction with other procedures?

  A question we often are asked at Aesthetic Contours is if patients can combine procedures, and the answer is; absolutely! It is not uncommon to combine a Cellulite Reduction with other procedures at our Inland Empire location in Upland. Most of our satisfied patients who are considering having Cellifina understand its ability to produce dramatic results on its own but also look to combine it with other body sculpting procedures to improve even further your current physique. • What are the risks associated with Cellulite Reduction?

  At Aesthetic Contours, we combine decades of experience, guidance, and technique to minimize all risks associated with any of our procedures, as every single one of our patients is a top priority for success and safety.  In the pivotal study, no serious adverse events were associated with Cellfina. The most common side effects reported by patients in the FDA‑cleared pivotal study were soreness, tenderness, and bruising. Just three days after treatment, patients rated their pain as minimal, and most felt pain only with touch or pressure to the area treated. This minimal pain improved quickly with time as more than 90% of patients had no bruising at four weeks.
